MARY POPPINS FESTIVAL – SUNDAY 3RD JULY 2022

PARADE REGISTRATION – ON THE DAY

Registration is open to all the community! Come join the fun and celebrate another storytelling journey – Mary Poppins Festival – Day in the Park

Registration Location: Competitors Marquee – Richmond Street.

Registration Time: Registration commences from 9.00am to 1.00pm

Parade Assembly Time: 1.30pm

Parade Time: 2.00pm

Details: All parade participants will be required to complete a Registration and Indemnity Waiver form. Forms can be picked up at the Competitors Marquee on Richmond Street.

Each participant must sign the registration and indemnity form before participating in the parade and bring this with them to hand in at the assembly location prior to the parade start.

THE ASSEMBLY – MARY RIVER PARKLANDS – 1.30PM

The Grand Parade participants are required to assemble at the March Street end of the Mary River Parklands at 1.30pm for the parade line-up. There will be an assembly check in table located at the corner of Wharf and March Streets. Parade marshals will show participants their allocated place in the parade line-up.

THE GRAND PARADE – 2.00PM

The parade commences at 2.00pm. Participants will walk through the Mary River Parklands along the pathway into Queens Park finishing at the front of the Mary Poppins Festival main stage for a grand finale to end the day’s festivities.
