Mary Poppins Festival

2017 Festival Program

23 June - 2 July 2017

Celebrating the Art of Storytelling through music, art, film and performance

The Mary Poppins Festival is a 10-day program of storytelling for all ages through all art forms.  From music concerts backstage and onstage at the Brolga Theatre to pop performances in the Bond Store Basement.

Our artists shared their stories through exhibitions and public art installations.  Walk the streets and rooftops came alive with some very special new surprises!

The much-loved Mary Poppins in the Park event will be held on Saturday 1 July and included a colourful range of activities for children and families including some very special regional touring programs from Out of the Box Children's Festival.  Come celebrate with us in 2017!

Following on from the success of 2016, ‘The Art of Storytelling’ will continue to be theme of celebration. Whether it be through song, visual arts, movie nights or performances, if your event celebrates the art of storytelling, we encourage you to partner with us.
